Voice Coaching Session
Carla’s coaching sessions are the best in the biz, training you at an elite level. She will guide your voice in the right direction helping you to create dynamic, high-energy sounds in a healthy way. She will help you develop excellent vocal quality in all singing styles while increasing your range. You will learn how to effortlessly produce sounds with her amazing technique that kept her flawlessly performing 8 shows a week in Rent on Broadway, one of the most vocally taxing shows out there.
Songwriting Coaching Session
Carla’s singer-songwriter sessions are unlike any composition class or workshop you have ever taken. From her own experience as a vocalist, pianist and recording artist, Carla knows how to work with the essence of your artistry and help you find the right form to express yourself. She’ll train you on how to create a hit song, write with different song structures and finesse your lyric writing. She mentors you on refining your style, recording your music, the ins and outs of the music business and forging a path to fulfilling your dreams.
Acting Coaching Session
Having been a Broadway actor in the most ground-breaking shows and working as a national commercial spokesperson and film actor, Carla knows the importance of conveying a sense of truth on stage and screen. She will work with your natural acting impulses through improvisation and develop your acting technique through monologue study. Working with on-camera technique, you will learn how to make commercial copy and television scripts look effortless on film. She will help you to make brave choices for your auditions and mentor you on the business of acting.
Career Coaching Session
Every performer needs some advice and mentoring to guide their next steps towards their dreams from time to time. Schedule a session with Carla to go over your resume, headshot, audition songs or monologues, college choices, demo reel, agent and manager target list, and to make definitive goals to move forward in your career path.
Custom-made Coaching Session
If you are interested in multiple areas of study, whether it be voice and acting or songwriting and voice, Carla will tailor-make your coaching session to fit your needs. Schedule an initial consultation and discuss with Carla your goals and she will design a plan that will allow you to work on your many talents. Whether it be to split the one-hour coaching session between 2 areas of study or devote 6 months to one area and another 6 months to another area, Carla will work out the best plan of action for you.
Initial Consultation Session
If you have questions or you are not sure about what coaching session is right for you, book an initial consultation session with Carla. You can talk through your goals and work with Carla one-on-one to get a sense of her teaching approach. She may ask you to bring some material you are working on or she may just give you some simple exercises to do for starters. After your initial consultation, you can make a choice that is right for you.
